Some of the repertoire played by the LGSO is exceptionally challenging. In order to thoroughly learn the music, multiple strategies of how to break down notes and rhythms are needed. This will of course happen in rehearsals, but it sometimes also occurs in the weeks leading up to a first rehearsal in the form of an informal theory class, a handout, or even a series of videos.
